Health Care

One of the most highly debated topics in the last few years is health care. Regardless of your political beliefs, we have only two options to personal health.

  • We take responsibility for our health.
  • Someone else makes the decisions for our health.

It goes without saying that the cost of health care will continue to rise. This fact alone points to one inevitability. Society can no longer afford to treat health after the fact. Preemptive measures must be taken to reduce the cost of health care. From a business standpoint we must encourage and support preemptive health care to increase profits and decrease expenses. From a personal standpoint we must take responsibility for our health and wellness to preserve a quality of life. As the debate goes on about quantity of life we lose focus on the real issue…quality of life. The interview with Dr. Delos Cosgrove in the March 1, 2010 issue of FORTUNE is well worth reading. You can read the interview online at CNNMoney.com.

It is beyond the scope of this overview to explain the details of a comprehensive health education and training component. I believe a training program that addresses these issues is imperative to business and its employees. I can and will set up this type of training and education.
