PULSE
PULSE allows high school students and college freshman to interact with Penn State medical students to learn about a medically related topic in a semester-long course. The fall 2013 topic is endocrinology. You will learn about healthcare fields and endocrinology while having fun and interacting with students from other schools. The program is offered at the Penn State College of Medicine, Hershey, PA. PULSE runs once per week for 2 hours during the fall semester of 2013. ACE Mentoring
ACE Mentoring is a national program offered to Dauphin County students through Hershey Entertainment and Resorts. The program's mission is to enlighten and increase the awareness of high school students to career opportunities in architecture, construction and engineering and related areas of the design and construction industry through mentoring; and to provide scholarship opportunities for students in an inclusive manner reflective of the diverse school population. The Dauphin County program is unique in that it also offers a component in the skilled trades areas.
